Why are requests from some employees not sent to the supervisor for approval?
Occasionally, an employee submits a request that is not displayed to any supervisor.
There can be two reasons for this:
1. These are requests that do not need approval from another authority, such as, by default, absence cancellation.
It is also possible that, in your organization, other requests that require approval by default (as described in this manual) are approved automatically if this serves administrative purposes.
2. No supervisor is assigned to the requesting person
This can happen if the requesting person is not directly or indirectly (as part
of a group) a competence target of a holder of the "Managing director" role, or
if the assignment was forgotten.
3. The requesting person is the approver
This can be the case if this person is a supervisor without a higher-level
supervisor.
It is also possible if the administrator, who is also a supervisor, switches to
another person and submits a request for them. The system recognizes the
administrator's role as a supervisor and approves the request
automatically.
