Update 2024-02-26
The system was updated to version 4.56.
New Features
Filter option in reports focused on departures
In reports based on OrgJournal, it is now possible to show only persons who left the organization within a specified time frame (checkbox "Show terminated employees only" or by selecting a time frame). The departure date from the person's time tracking data is used as the date for the end of employment.
Important: these filter options are only available after the configuration has been adjusted!
Improved filters for reports based on the journal (OrgJournal)
The filters for reports based on the journal (OrgJournal) were improved to increase the effectiveness of evaluations, e.g., in the report "Filter for Irregularities in Time Tracking". For filter properties that can only have two states, the filters can now be switched on and off. It is also now possible to enter balance values for certain filter properties.
Important: these filter options are only available after the configuration has been adjusted!
When configuring the fields for filtering, note that when parentheses and/or different logical operators (and, or) are used, all fields are automatically active for the user. Switching the filters off in such a configuration is not possible.
The following example shows an active filter and the selection of two categories in the search form:
Legislation for key values
It is now possible to assign key values to a national or regional legislation. This implementation is available for specific parts of Webdesk and cannot be applied globally. This change affects the following areas:
- ptm_editCustomer: relates to the client assigned to the customer
- evm_eventAssistant: relates to the client to which the event manager is assigned
- hr_editPersonSecondaryJob: relates to the person or the client to which this person is assigned
There are three categories for key values that determine the availability of the values.
- bound to the legislation of a location group
- bound to the legislation of the client
- public
In the selection, the legislation of a location assignment of the person, if one exists, is used. If there is no such assignment, the legislation of the client is used.
Example: Ms. Huber is newly created as an employee. She works for her
employer, which is based in Linz, but whose branch office is
in Bavaria. When entering the holiday calendar that applies to Ms. Huber
(Person/Settings/Time Tracking), the HR officer has "Germany"
according to Ms. Huber's location, but also "Vienna" and "Europe" available for selection in
the list. Since the holidays differ between Germany and Austria,
"Germany" is selected.
A year later, Ms. Huber moves to the headquarters in Linz. Now the legal assignment of the company's registered office applies, and
"Austria" is available.
Important: when the place of work changes, as in the example above, the holiday calendar must be changed manually! An automatic change is not possible!
Loading indicator for context menus
All functions with context menus, such as the group calendar or the journal, now show a loading indicator when this function is opened.
Column hiding also applies when exporting reports
If columns are hidden in the journal, this now also affects the display of the journal in an exported format (Excel, PDF, CSV): it is now displayed without the hidden columns.
Collective agreements in "Legislation"
In the "Legislation" function, the linked collective agreements are now also visible.
Gender "diverse"
The option "diverse" (non-binary) is now available in all gender selection options (creating a new person, filter options for reports, etc.).
Report for expiring work/residence permits
HR Expert has a new standard report that allows users to filter for expiring work or residence permits. This report can be found under "Personnel Lists" and offers selection options by time period and by permit type. Information about expiring permits is also available on the dashboard.
