#1 New Feature "Derived Roles"

In the past, our customers have increasingly asked to give all holders of a role access to evaluations according to their respective role assignment. This is now possible through the concept of "derived roles." For example, supervisors can then access not only their own organizational unit and all units below it, but all organizational units for which they are responsible.

Example:

Ms. Müller is assigned to the Marketing department and is responsible for the following organizational units:

Marketing

• Marketing Wien
• Marketing Graz

Sales

• Sales Wien
• Sales Graz

With the standard Personalwolke settings, she gets access to both of the organizational units below, since they are located within the Marketing organizational unit:

Marketing

• Marketing Wien
• Marketing Graz

With a derived role, on the other hand, the viewing permission can be used according to the role definition, so she gets access to the following organizational units:

Marketing

• Marketing Wien
• Marketing Graz

Sales

• Sales Wien
• Sales Graz
