Extra Hours & Extra Hours Evaluation
Extra hours: activate rebooking
Here you can select whether and which of the hours worked beyond the scheduled working time should be rebooked as extra hours:
If you select the setting "Weekly, partial week", the first X overtime hours per week (X is defined under "Extra hours: rebooking threshold") are recorded in the system as extra hours and not as overtime.
If you select the setting "Weekly 2 (balance,50,70)", the first 1.5 hours per week that are worked in addition are recorded as extra hours. This rule is relevant, for example, under the retail collective agreement.

Extra hours: rebooking threshold
If the parameter "Weekly/partial week" is activated in the setting above, enter here the threshold in hours up to which additional hours worked are counted as extra hours instead of overtime.
For example, if you enter "10" as the threshold, the first 10 hours worked in addition to the scheduled working time are rebooked as extra hours. All hours beyond this value are then counted as regular overtime.

Extra hours evaluation: work outside the core time frame
This option determines whether the employee is authorized to work extra hours outside the core time frame. If extra work outside the core time frame is not permitted but is performed anyway, the time outside the core time frame is shown as unevaluated time, which must be claimed again.
|
Option |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Yes |
Permission to work extra hours outside the core time frame |
|
No |
No permission to work extra hours outside the core time frame |
Example:
If the employee Cloudia Rosso is authorized to work extra hours outside the core time frame, her 2 additional hours outside the core time frame are (for example) credited to her hours balance as usual. However, if she is not authorized to work extra hours outside the core time frame, these 2 hours are capped and initially not shown. Cloudia then has to submit a request for extra work outside the core time frame on a daily basis. If the supervisor approves this request, the previously unevaluated hours are credited to her balance according to her time schedule.

Extra hours evaluation: overtime factored to balance start
This setting is relevant if the company decides not to credit overtime to a special account, but to credit it directly to the time balance multiplied by a certain factor (e.g., x 1.5). Here you define the date from which overtime is to be credited to the time account with a factor.
Only effective if an overtime permission exists!
