Mounting Instructions for Newer Models

Scope of delivery

Your delivery includes the following individual parts:

  • 1x terminal
  • 1x charging cable
  • 1x NFC reader

For mounting, you will also need the following:

  • a Phillips screwdriver
  • a LAN cable or a Wi-Fi connection at the desired installation location

1. Remove the cover

Loosen the two Phillips screws (marked in white) that hold the cover of the kiosk. Carefully pull the cover up and forward. Set the screws aside safely so they do not get lost.

2. Expose the USB connections

  1. Remove the protective cap of the USB-C port
    Remove the small plastic cap covering the USB-C port by simply pulling it out.

  2. Remove the protective film
    Carefully peel off the safety film labeled Caution to gain access to the USB-C port.

  3. USB-C port visible
    The kiosk's USB-C port is now exposed and ready for connecting additional components.

3. Assembly

  1. Make the connections
    Now connect the required cables:
    • Connect the PoE cable, or
    • Connect the power supply & Ethernet cable, or
    • Connect only the power supply and set up the Wi-Fi connection later.
  2. Attach the cover
    Place the cover back on the device, but do not tighten the screws yet.

4. Mount the reader

  1. Prepare the reader
    Take the reader with the USB-C connector out of the packaging.
  2. Connect the reader
    Insert the reader's USB-C connector into the port on the kiosk that you exposed earlier.
  3. Finish mounting the cover and reader
    Now secure the cover and the reader by firmly tightening all four Phillips screws.

5. Your booking terminal is now ready for use

Please note that you must assign a "booking terminal admin user" and complete the registration. If the terminal has already been set up in advance, you can get started right away and skip the registration.
